Meet Dennis
Your Voice at the Capitol. Your Neighbor at home.
Dennis is a seasoned attorney, Navy son, husband, and father who believes public service is a responsibility, not a career. After nearly four decades advocating for families and businesses, he’s running for NC House for District 17 to bring fresh leadership, independent thinking, and meaningful change to Raleigh. Our district deserves a new voice and a renewed focus on the people.
A New Vision. Real Solutions.
Protecting Healthcare Access
Investing in Education
Strong public schools build strong communities. I oppose taking tax dollars away from our public schools and sending them to private vouchers. Our classrooms should be places of learning, not fear. I will fight to keep guns out of schools, support our teachers, and give students the safe, well-funded education they deserve.
Supporting Smart, Balanced Growth
Brunswick County is growing, and growth should benefit the people who already live here. I support smart, locally guided planning that protects neighborhoods, preserves green space, and strengthens infrastructure. Decisions about zoning belong in our community, not imposed from Raleigh or driven by special interests.
Cleaning Up Our Water
Clean water is non-negotiable. I will hold our polluters accountable and fight to keep our water toxin-free, protect our rivers and coastlines, and defend environmental safeguards that keep families safe, and Protecting our natural resources isn’t partisan. It’s about safeguarding public health and preserving what makes North Carolina
home.
Making Life More Affordable
Families across our community are feeling squeezed, at the grocery store, in rising housing costs, and in higher insurance premiums. After years of the same leadership, too many working families and retirees are still struggling to keep up. It’s time for practical, responsible solutions that ease the burden on everyday people.
"Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future."
